I follow a lot of bloggers who write about photography. My favorite ones have a great balance of words and pictures.
One extremely smart and talented fellow who writes from the other side of the world recently posted his artist statement that was thoughtful, meticulous detailed and beautifully written.
Actually, I assume it was beautifully written because he’s such a great writer. I didn’t read it because it was as dense as an encyclopedia entry. I just looked at his beautiful photography, which is all I really want.
That’s why I decided to publish my own curatorial statement.
Great photography is enough.
