Crowd Calculus

I never quite understood the adage, “two’s company, three’s a crowd.”

In today’s world, isolation and loneliness are worse outcomes than one too many.

How about defaulting to “the more, the merrier” for gathering.

These fellows in the portrait are business partners in South Carolina. Obviously, I don’t know how their interpersonal relationships work at a micro level.

I do know that they weren’t opposed to sitting for this rather fun arrangement.

This kind of calculation isn’t something that I can do with pen and paper. It comes from years of observing how people interact with each other during photo sessions.

Not all of these attempts work out. Luckily, this one did.
