Cross-Pollination

They’re setting up for the annual book festival at the place that houses my gym.

It’s an “in-person event.”

If you recall, those used to be called “events.”

Later today, I’ll pay for a two-day seminar about making photo books. It’s 100% remote.

Attending in person would be great, but the reality is that it’s unlikely that I would have pulled the trigger for three or four days in Santa Fe.

There’s a real cross-pollination that happens when participants of lectures or seminars get together. But not going is worse than not commingling.
