Is this a street or an alley or a driveway?
The answer is yes.
I’m not sure that it matters after the session is over. The fact that it was empty, despite being in New York, allowed me to concentrate on photography instead of traffic.
The spot that I chose was exactly on the corner of where the ambiguous pavements met. That allowed a little added depth to this Hell’s Kitchen scene.
No matter how many times I work in this neighborhood, I feel like I’m getting away with something. It always seems too good to be true.
Then again, making a living getting my kicks with a camera fits that definition.
