Charlotte Planespotting

Does that rumble and roar overhead signify the end of the world?

In this case, it’s a giant airplane. Specifically, a Boeing 777 inbound from Europe.

I’m always on the lookout for great planespotting opportunities especially when they’re flying slow enough for a picture.

The triple 7 is an aircraft type that rarely makes it to my home airport which made this shot a little more special.

My last visit to Charlotte allowed me to catch this and a lot of other “heavy” planes. This “up close and personal” airshow had no admission price.
