Central Evolution

This session took place in the small confines of a city block on Central Avenue in Clayton, Missouri. To be exact, just the part between the alley and Maryland Avenue.

We didn’t stray beyond that small area because everything we needed was there.

The tapas restaurant had bright colors. The cigar shop, formerly a camera store, had reflective windows. The shade trees were the extra ingredient that brought it all together.

There’ll never be another session like this again. Earlier this month the quaint buildings were demolished to make way for a high-rise.

Call it progress. Maybe someday that new building will benefit me. Truth be told, I’d love to live above it all in Clayton.
