Bryce’s Playground

For the son of a cherry farmer in Ontario, what’s a likely career path?

If your answer is a “cross between a kinesiologist and product designer,” congratulate yourself because that’s exactly right.

I’m told that almost anybody can do this job with only a bachelor’s degree plus an MFA and also a Ph.D.

My friend has his dissertation mounted on the wall encapsulated in lucite. The only difference is that he blasted it with a shotgun a few times in keeping with his personality.

That’s just one of the many cool things he has scattered about. His place is a veritable playground for design aficionados.

My latest visit was to see his new office building and scout for some new photography that we’re going to produce later in the year. This hand sculpture has been around a long time and it’s not the first time I captured it with a camera. I’m sure it won’t be the last.
