The future is unpredictable. But if you look closely at the picture, you’ll see many enduring objects that were carefully constructed. People leave and return all the time.

Those building and things still have purpose and meaning and will never be abandoned. Like the city of Monterosso and the Mediterranean itself, they follow their own timeline.
