Blinded by the Light

I was on a location scout today for paying gig next week.

The scout wasn’t necessary for me because I’ve done work at this location previously. The person who hired me is new to the company and I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet in person.

The place where I intend to set up is exactly as I remember it from my last session there in January of 2020.

This time there’s a good chance that we’ll also have an outdoor location as an option given the warm season.

We talked a bit about how that might work.

I explained that the outside venue might be great but that it was weather-dependant.

It reminded me of a past winter session on the other side of Kirkwood, Missouri where I was today. That day was bitterly cold with strong winds. The saving grace was the intense sunlight and some perfectly placed mini-blinds.

Time will tell if the weather is my friend or foe on this project.
