Big Spirit, Small Package
Photography is a subjective medium.
All that business about “the camera never lies” is a myth.
Wide, medium and telephoto lenses render the same scenes differently.
From the moment that I met this artist, it was obvious that I needed a way to capture a big spirit housed in a small human.
A slightly oversized table in the garden of her studio seemed like the right place to have a little fun with scale.
My new 16mm lens was just the right tool.
