Belts and suspenders are the right fit
I can predict with certainty that I’m going to experience an equipment failure. What I can’t predict is when that inevitably will happen.
That means that I travel with duplicates of everything that’s needed to complete a project. I know a lot of other photographers that do the same. We don’t do it because we need the fitness bump that comes with hauling more gear. It means that we value and respect our clients and would never let something preventable ruin that relationship.
Belts and suspenders are important parts of a professional’s uniform.
