He is a painter of wildlife that immerses the viewer in nature. He has traveled far and wide to observe his subjects in their environment.

Andrew’s home studio in Iowa is unique. It’s right in the middle of a wildlife refuge that he built on his property.

Simply by looking out of his studio window, he can observe a world of his own creation before he commits it to the canvas.
