Artisanal Persuasion

I’m not sure what this upcoming election is about but the creator of the sign has an unambiguous position.

I’ve never been a fan of pins, bumper stickers and yard signs that advocate for an election outcome. Maybe that’s because I think I can’t be persuaded by such a simple tactic.

On the other hand, we humans underestimate our ability to be influenced. The noted physisict Richard Feynman is often quoted as saying, “The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool.”

All of that aside, I am certainly impressed by anyone who takes the time to share their opinions using hand-made communications.

This one, opposed to the parcel tax, is a real work of art.
