April Maple

The first day to safely schedule outdoor photography in my part of Missouri is a point of contention.

If the desire is to have warm enough weather for shirtsleeves, it can be as early as tax day.

However, if full foliage and predictable light are desired, May 1st is my baseline.

This archived session took place on April 30th. The temperature was perfect and the Japanese maple tree was at peak Spring color.

I cheated a little and came away with a win.
