Accidentally on Purpose

I noticed this footprint on the sidewalk not too long ago. It’s on Laclede Avenue in St. Louis. I was in the neighborhood for a brief photo session with a chef.

The placement, accidentally or on purpose, is impressive. The framing is stellar. Mother Nature gets a nod for the leaf placement. As sidewalk art, it’s top drawer.

A lot of people see wet cement as an invitation for creation.

One person’s vandalism is another person’s masterpiece. In this case, it’s a little of both. I’m not taking a stand other than to say had I not been early for my gig, I would have missed it completely.
