Above the Fray

Are you in the thick of it?

If so, why?

If not, you’ve probably earned your wings.

This modern lifestyle choice of “being busy” as if it’s righteous, ought to go away.

Everyone can see through the charade. Those that can’t, with the virtue signaling of being swamped.

Being overscheduled doesn’t make you a star, it means that you can’t manage your time.

Is it really that hard to say no to that way of thinking? I’ve learned the hard way that when something is wrapped up in status, change is hard.

I can’t think of one luxury that all this busywork will buy that is better than the freedom to fly above the fray.
