96 in the Shade

When we’re freezing, we want to be warm. When we’re hot, some chilly air would be a relief.

Earlier today, I was watching a parade outside in the shade. The heat was substantial. I didn’t have a thermometer but I knew that it was hot enough to match this reggae song.

Where I was in Wyoming is more famous for merciless winters.

I’m sure there were plenty of locals near me who would have traded the warmth for parka weather.

Not me. I’ll take the heat over cold any time.

But that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy a very chilly portrait session when the conditions aren’t as toasty.
